Privacy Policy

Who we are

Our website address is: https://henbaka.com.
Henbaka is a video streaming platform where users can watch and interact with content. By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.

An anonymized string (hash) created from your email address may be shared with the Gravatar service to determine if you use it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture (if any) will be visible next to your comment.

Media

Uploads are currently restricted to internal use only. However, if images are ever allowed to be uploaded in the future, we recommend avoiding images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS), as visitors to the site could potentially extract that information.

Cookies

If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to saving your name, email, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so you don’t need to re-enter your details next time. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to check if your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in (via Discord or Google), we will set cookies to save your login session and screen preferences. Login cookies last two days. If you choose “Remember Me”, login will persist for two weeks. Logging out removes these cookies.

User Accounts and Activity

Users may log in using third-party providers (Discord or Google). When logged in, users can interact with videos (like, unlike, save, and comment) and view a personalized dashboard, which includes their watch history.

Your watch history and interaction data are private and only visible to you. Other users cannot access this information.

Embedded content from other websites

Some videos or content on this site may include embeds from third-party platforms (e.g., YouTube, Discord, etc.). These third-party platforms may collect data about you, use cookies, and track your interaction with the embedded content if you’re logged into their services.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.
If you request a password reset, your IP address may be included in the reset email for security purposes.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are stored indefinitely to facilitate future replies and moderation.

For registered users, we store the personal information provided in your user profile. You may view, edit, or delete your personal information at any time (except for your username). Site administrators can also access and modify this data.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an export of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you’ve provided. You may also request deletion of your data, except where we are legally required to retain it.

Where your data is sent

Visitor comments may be screened through an automated spam detection service to prevent abuse.
